成人抖阴Hosts Bus Trip to Opening of Museum of American Indians

SALISBURY, MD---America’s first residents—the Native Americans—finally have their own place in the nation’s capital, and members of the Salisbury University community will be on hand to pay tribute as the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of the American Indians opens Tuesday, September 21. A bus shuttles 成人抖阴and Salisbury community members to the festivities, leaving from the Guerrieri University Center at 5:30 a.m. and Washington, D.C., at 5:45 p.m. Located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the museum symbolizes a deeper understanding and reconciliation between Native Americans and those from all over the world who now call the Americas home, said June Krell-Salgado, 成人抖阴cultural events coordinator. Native Americans from North, Central and South America are expected to attend the grand opening. From 8 a.m.-noon, thousands of Native American communities and supporters participate in a ceremonial processional from the Smithsonian Castle to the new museum at the foot of the Capitol. Those attending the opening ceremonies will be allowed into the museum via timed entry passes. Timed passes for 成人抖阴to enter the museum are set for 4:30 p.m. Tickets from SU, including bus transportation and museum entry, are $20 for 成人抖阴students, faculty and staff, $35 for the greater community. Full-time students may purchase tickets starting Monday, September 6. Tickets are available to 成人抖阴students, faculty and staff Wednesday, September 8, and the greater community Friday, September 10.
