'High-Tech Mind to Market' Workshop September 29

      SALISBURY, MD---“Going from High-Tech Mind to Market” 		is a workshop designed to educate and assist companies on how to 		commercialize their research and development of technology products and 		processes. The workshop is 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, in 		the Frederick Room of The Commons at Salisbury University.		The program is geared toward companies engaged in 		research and development projects, interested in licensing, transferring 		and commercializing technology and seeking to identify new products to 		grow their technology companies.		The workshop provides information and support in 		the following areas: strategies fro growing a technology business, 		intellectual property protection, alternative funding sources, making a 		case for funding, successfully marketing the technology, and strategies 		for commercialization.		Participation is limited to 15. Companies can 		receive support in any of the workshop topic areas upon request.		The course is co-sponsored by the Small Business 		Development Center at Salisbury University and the Maryland SBDC 		Network. The cost is $55 including continental breakfast and materials. 				The registration deadline is September 23.
